Hotels are going through an extremely tough time during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Here are some staggering facts:
STR and Tourism Economics are projecting revenue losses of 57.5% for the year. Last week, revenues were 27% of what they were last year per STR.
Bureau of Labor Stats reported that 7.7 million hospitality and leisure jobs were lost since the pandemic has hit the US.
Individual hotels and major operators are projecting occupancies below 20%. At an occupancy rate of 35% or lower, hotels may simply close their doors, putting 33,000 small businesses at risk.
We realize this is devastating to many, and we want to help.
WhereiPark specializes in helping real estate owners monetize their under-utilized parking assets by connecting companies in need of employee parking (i.e., Companies, fleets, rental car companies, etc.) with hotels and other real estate owners with excess parking. We manage the entire program/administrative functions and issue payment each month.
You may be considering partnering with us but have a few questions. Here are some frequently asked questions about WhereiPark (WiP):
What exactly would you do for us?
Where are these monthly parkers coming from?
How does liability work? Is it safe to bring an outsider to my hotel/apartment?
How much is your ‘service’?
There are NO fees or risk to list your property on WiP. We operate on a performance model and earn a share of the new parking revenue created by our program. WiP doesn’t earn anything unless your spaces are rented.
How flexible is your program? My hotel has many spaces available right now because of COVID-19 and will need these spaces back for guests and events when things go back to normal; will I be able to reclaim all the parking spaces?
WhereiPark’s flexible program can be deployed in days. There are no set up costs, no long-term commitment needed, and you can terminate any and all parking contracts with 30-60 day notice as needed.
Is my hotel suitable?
Yes, if you have more than five vacant parking spaces that could be rented on a monthly basis.
How can I get started?
We’d be happy to provide a free consultation. Please email us at partners@whereipark.com or call at (415) 480-7275
